Owner and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach
Sam is a coach with a huge passion for true performance and well-being. Holding a BSc in Strength and Conditioning Science, Sam uses scientific-based practice combined with a holistic approach to assessing and implementing successful training and well-being interventions to support client and athletes’ goals.

He has a proven track record in supporting clients reaching their ‘true’ best, whether that is with strength improvements, conditioning levels, or weight loss. Sam balances his time between elite sports performance and private sector clients, but the attention to detail remains the same. Previously a spell in Rugby Union both in the UK and Australia led to a significant neck injury that has molded his focus and passion for improving people’s quality of life. Sam has overcome retiring from a sport he spent years devoted to at the highest level and living with a significant injury both physically and emotionally. His ability to review the whole package and deliver first-class training is what has put Strengthlab407 on the map.

Strength and Conditioning Coach
Daniel graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in Sport and Exercise science, and has since worked in a variety of settings. He has extensive experience in the fitness industry, education and elite performance. He worked as an intern with high performance athletes at University of East London and now oversees the national and regional squads at Chelsea and Westminster Swim Club, whilst also working as a personal trainer. He has recently completed a master’s degree with distinction in Strength and Conditioning at St Mary’s University and has a keen focus on young athlete development.”

My Mission

Daniel's mission is to share the benefits of resistance training to people of all ages and to show that it is fun, safe and highly effective training method to improve sports performance, reduce risk of injury and promote lifelong health and quality of life


Connor Marsden

Strength and Conditioning Coach

Connor is a professional boxer and the current southern area lightweight champion; he’ll be looking to pass on his knowledge as our boxing coach.

He has over ten years of experience in boxing, Winning many titles in the amateurs and now picking up his first title in the pro game back in September last year; Connor is a level 2 amateur coach where he trains all types of boxers at his club Earlsfield ABC.

Connor is also a part of the boxwise program, a national, community-based project helping ages u18s & 18-30-year-olds from all walks of life building confidence, respect, fitness & boxing skill, among other things.

So no matter what your experience, skill, or fitness level is, Connor can cater to your training needs to achieve your goals.

Gabriela Budusanu

Personal Trainer Coach

Gabriela Budusanu is a certified level 3 personal trainer passionate about helping clients achieve their desired transformation. Her love for sports and fitness began during her own fitness journey in 2019, which led her to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques to provide cutting-edge training and guidance. Gabriela offers personalized training programs and nutritional advice to meet each client's unique goals and needs, whether training at home or at the Strength Lab 407 studio.

As a personal trainer is to empower individuals to lead a healthy lifestyle, develop a strong body, and cultivate an unbeatable mindset. Gabriela believes that life naturally unfolds with various challenges, but through exercise, consistency, and a healthy attitude, life can be a long beautiful journey.
